Growing up.

It's been very strange the past two years. Suddenly everything got so serious and instead of people asking what I was doing over summer break they started asking where I was going to college. What I was doing with my life and what direction I was heading. At first it really freaken me out, why all of a sudden almost every adult was asking the same question to which I had no answer.

I wish somebody would have sat me down my freshman year and told me to save money like crazy. Because when you are fifteen years old you don't have to pay for a car or gas or anything else. You just have massive amounts of money from your first job and you don't know what to do with it. Sometimes I remember what stupid crap I've spent money on when I could have saved it for a rainy day, a college fund, a travel or heck even a new camera fund!

So if you happen to be a young person reading this I'm giving you some advise I wish somebody would have given me:
I know you've got your first real job and it's really exciting but you are dealing with money and you need to take me seriously for a minute. You can even take notes. Let's just say you are getting two hundred dollars a pay check, pretty good for a 15/16 year old. Alright now you are saving up for an amazing car, the way you've figured it is if you put $100 away towards the car each month you can buy it by your 16th birthday. Perfect so now you have $100 of your paycheck left YOU PUT $50 to $75 IN SAVINGS DO YOU HEAR ME? YOU SAVE THAT EXTRA MONEY FOR COLLEGE OR A RAINY DAY OR HAVE TWO SAVINGS, ONE FOR BOTH, I DONT CARE.
I'm not kidding. Put a ton of money away for stuff like that before you have to start paying for gas and food and bla bla bla.
I think I would feel better if I had saved up my money like this. I seriously cannot remember what I could have possibly spent all that money on. I wasn't saving any and I didn't have to pay for anything, WHERE DID MY MONEY GO?
End of advice.
The point of this post was mixed up a little but I don't care, so ha.

Viva La Madi.

Ahh yes here we are again.
Only now I'm not 12 and finishing High School.

Q: What are you going to do with a blog Madi?
A: I don't know. Honestly. I might forget about it in two weeks. But then again I might never forget about it and it will be like a public diary kind of thing. Who knows?

Q: Do people still use blogs?
A: Yes. Most of them do DIY's for children's crafts and easy dinners, yet here I am.

Q: I bet you won't last more then a month.
A: That's not a question. And I don't take challenges so ha.

Q: Don't you have a job or something?
A: Is that any of your business? And no. Curre
ntly unemployed. Yayyy.

Q: Did you just make up all of those questions?
A: Yes I did thank you for noticing.

Yeah it's kinda late for me so maybe this isn't a good idea, I don't know. We shall see I suppose.
